Red Cloud Libert'Arte 1

As part of the partnership with the Libert`Arte project, Red Cloud Teatro de Marionetas is approaching the universe of puppets through the construction, manipulation and creation of short theatrical scenes.

Red Cloud Libert'Arte 2

After the first introductory sessions under the theme of recycling, we decided to work from the story “A Rosa e os Três Namorados” which is part of the traditional repertoire of “Teatro Dom Roberto”. We decided to recycle history putting it at the service of another puppet construction and manipulation technique.

Originally, this story is presented by the traditional “glove puppets” with wooden heads, the “robertos”. We decided to recycle this tradition, building rod puppets, whose body is entirely made of wood.

Participants made their wooden “toys” according to the distribution of characters. Now, in the initial testing phase, we are working on manipulation. As you know, this is a complete and sensitive work… There is a whole process of evolution and learning so that all the elements come together harmoniously…

We are looking forward to seeing the result of this experience!

Be sure to follow us to stay abreast of the activities we are developing, because after all, theater is not just about presentations… All the sharing and experimentation that make up the path to presentations is one of the most delightful things to develop in the process artistic.
