Conversations with Artists
We are thrilled to announce that the final two Conversations with Artists of this cycle of *Motus Imago* Shapes, Puppets and Things in Motion are now available on our YouTube channel.
We had the opportunity to talk with several creators who we welcomed at Espaço Red Cloud Teatro de Marionetas:
- Arturo Ledesma, from the Spanish company Baychimo Teatro, who brought us the immersive show for babies “PINXIT,” a sensory experience that delighted the youngest audience.

Motus Imago’24 recap
*Motus Imago* Shapes, Puppets and Things in Motion aims to enrich the cultural offerings in the city of Aveiro, within the broad scope of small-format theatre and puppetry, as well as moving images.
In 2024, we opened our doors to various incredible and enriching sessions, some of which also took place online or in municipal facilities.

Performance “OCTAVE” by Pedro Cardoso and José Pires
A performance sonora e audiovisual “OCTAVE”, que explora a ligação do cinema e da música numa sucessão de “clips” que cruza várias estéticas e técnicas. O projeto é constituído por Pedro Cardoso (Músico e Sonoplasta) e José Pires (Cineasta).
*O evento foi integrado nas Jornadas Europeias do Património.

Teatro Dom Roberto, by Red Cloud Teatro de Marionetas
In another school session, the traditional Dom Roberto Theatre was presented at São Jacinto Elementary School on September 26, marking the end of this cycle of *Motus Imago*.
As part of this programming, two short video pieces from Red Cloud Puppet Theatre were made available for online viewing:
“Between People v1.1”
This version reveals a possible nature of the imaginary character Between People. It emerges when a unique dimension is reached: the Between People dimension, with specific effects on people. This version explores various techniques such as Video Direction, Animation Cinema, Performance, and Mask in a visual language that appeals to the gaming and artistic universe, where music and immersive narrations accompany the action while suggesting the passage to a new dimension.

“Dromoscopic”
This short video piece, created from the show “Dromoscopic Sketch”, a production by Red Cloud Teatro de Marionetas, plays with the perception of time and role reversals in the “performances” of life and war.
