Paula Moreno
Choreographer, Performer, Teacher and Body PsychotherapistShe is the author of the ama.zonas and the Biosynthetic Movement projects. In her professional training, the body has always assumed a favorite place in the relationship with the world and defined itself as an instrument for the creation of knowledge and expressions. With a degree in Dance from the Lisbon Superior School of Dance, she began her artistic studies in France. From 2002 onwards, she guided her academic path towards a work in Somatic Education with training in Body Psychotherapy, Biodynamic Massage and a Post-Graduation in Perceptual Psychopedagogy. Since 2000, she has developed independent creative projects and for dance companies: Offered in Palma da Terra (2000), Transplante (2001), ExtrActos do Corpo (2001), Traits Portraits (2015), Rosa dos Ventos (2016), Axónio (2016), Coral’s Tear et In the Void is where Flight Happens (2017), The verse is seen in transparency (2018). Between 1994 and 2005 she was a performer in creations by Mathilde Monnier, Charles Cré-Ange, Sílvia Real, Aldara Bizarro and Paulo Ribeiro. As part of her work with the Paulo Ribeiro Dance Company, she was awarded an Honorable Mention for her performance in the work Rumor dos Deuses in the V Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis, France, 1996.
