Dear followers,
October started with great intensity, in a week full of meetings and rehearsals with the team of “BONECOS” (PUPPETS), the next creation by Red Cloud Teatro de Marionetas. In this update, we provide a brief summary of what has happened and what is still to come in the near future.
Among the working sessions, we had the privilege of welcoming Professor Celestino Macedo, who shared his knowledge about oral traditions and the importance of the spoken word and storytellers in African culture.

Storyteller Quico Cadaval, the stage director of “Bonecos”, was present throughout the week, guiding the creative process. On Friday, October 4th, we opened the doors of Espaço Red Cloud Marionetas for a brief storytelling session – “Os inocentes” (“The Innocents”).
The creative process of “Bonecos” is progressing intensely. Creation and rehearsals continue, and we will also have some activities open to the public:

*Starting November 19th, Red Cloud Marionetas will be in residency at Teatro Aveirense, beginning the final stage of the creative process for this new show, which will premiere there on December 7th and 8th.
